Tributes have been paid to alleged murder victim Nathaniel David Wardle.
The 43-year-old, who was known to his friends at Natty, was dead pronounced at the scene after he was allegedly stabbed near his home, in Wallsend, on Monday afternoon.
Mohammed Rabani, 18, has since appeared in court accused of Nathaniel’s murder. And now friends are paying tribute to Nathaniel, who has been described as a loving dad-of-four.

Ashleigh Fontaine has set-up a page on the online fundraising site JustGiving.
She is hoping to raise £2,000 to help Nathaniel’s family pay for his funeral.
She wrote: “Natty was a single dad to four boys aged 11 to 18. Anyone who knew Natty, knows he was so loving, happy and silly with all his kids and nieces and nephews, he’s going to be a huge miss for everyone.
“This story is something that you see on TV, never expect this to happen to you.
“The money we are trying to raise is all to make sure the four boys and his family, get to send him off the way they would like and its one less thing they need to be worried about, during this terrible time.”
Ashleigh also told how the alleged attack happened outside Nathaniel’s home, on St Hilda’s Avenue, in Holy Cross, as he returned from the shop and that members of his family were there at the time.
Mr Rabani appeared at North Tyneside Magistrates’ Court in North Shields yesterday morning charged with murder and possession of a bladed article.
No pleas were entered during the hearing. The defendant, of Weldon Crescent, Heaton, Newcastle, was told his case would be sent to Newcastle Crown Court where he will appear on Friday. He was ordered in custody.
Four other teenagers arrested in connection with Nathaniel’s murder. have been released under investigation.
